There will be more finances available for the ACC to continue their good or perhaps great work they have done in the past years. Mr.Pawar was very kind and listened to the dynamic plans of BIG League USA as ICC would like to see emerging cricket playing countries like USA, Canada and China do well. Mr.Pawar was impressed with some of our marketing tools we have developed for the region, in particular the full color "American Dream Of Cricket Exclusive Brochure" which has silver foiling and exhibits the only ICC Certified Cricket Stadium in North America, located at the Broward County. Friday 03, September 2010 Meeting Gordon Greenidge, An Experience !It is rare that one meets a legend of the past and realizes that cricket players and cricket as a game has really changed. BIG League USA, CEO, Salman Ahmed had the utmost pleasure of meeting with the one time master opening batsman of West Indies, Mr.Gordon Greenidge. During this visit to the West Indies, meeting Gordon Greenidge was over wheliming and shaking hands with him was intimadating as his hands werehard rock. It explains now that all that hard hitting was nothing but sheer power and technique. Views Of Gordon Greenidge on the way cricket has changed were of great value, perhaps too valuable to share, unless it is done in person. It was a real treat and experince to meet the all time batting maestro, Gordon Greenidge, who showed interest in coming over to the US for coaching etc.

It was an absoolute and honor for BIG League USA's CEO, Salman Ahmed to meet HRH Prince Charles at the Buckingham Palace during his recent visit to London. Present were also other dignatories from the world of cricket, including the Chairman of MCC. HRH Prince Charles was keen on knowing about development of cricket in USA and talked about a game between USA XI vs England XI in the near future. This will be done in association with USA Cricket Association, West Indies Cricket Board, Various Leagues, American College Cricket & anyone who has a desire to work towards betterment of cricket. This is a clear indication that the days ahead for cricket in USA are going to be full of excitement and development of cricket remains to be as priority NO.1 Friday 05, November 2010 BIG Broward League Finals 2010 A Huge SuccessThe season one of BBCL finished in a memorable way when fans in Florida witnessed a thrilling low scoring match between the two finanlists of the "South Florida Conference League " & " South Florida Cricket League" teams. The latter got the young guns out for a mere 119 off the 20 overs and the yougsters did not allow the experinced team of "SFCL" to get away with an easy win as the match was down to the wire and only finished with four balls to spare of the allotted 20 overs. The Chief Guest was former opening batsman of West Indies, the hard hitting "Gordon Greenidge". The MVP of the tournament was the iron man himself of the South East Region, Ken Singh. The prize distribution ceremony matched many of the International event ceremonies. The highlight of the evening was the applause by all the players and officials in acknowlidging the efforts of BIG League USA in bringing real cricket to the only ICC Certified Cricket Stadium in North America. Monday 20, December 2010 BIG League USA Make Dreams Come True For MVPOne can truly believe that dreams do come true as Adrian Gordon, MVP of the American College Cricket 2011 Championship was at the Wankhade Stadium in Mumbai where the Mumbai Indians were hosting the Rajasthan Royals in a historic match of the IPL as it was the farewell game of cricket's super hero, Shane Warne. Adrian Gordon spoke to CEO of BIG League USA, Salman Ahmed and was full of praise for the organization as without the joint efforts of the American College Cricket and BIG League USA this would not have been possible for an American Cricket Player to be in an IPL match practicing with an IPL Franchise and in company of several great players. All this was due to the efforts of BIG League USA offering a platform to the MVP of American College Cricket for 2010. The initiative of BIG League USA to assist cricket at grass root level is evident when such opportunities are offered to local talent of North America. Till recent months none of the players within North America could have even imagined that they could be part of an IPL (Indian Premier League) franchise in the company of cricket legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Shane Warne and also current heroes like Kieron Pollard, Botha, Shaun Tait and several others.
